Graham Roberts has warned Tottenham to have the right attitude at Brighton or they'll slip to yet another defeat.

Antonio Conte's side continue their pursuit of European football with a trip to the South Coast this evening where they'll be hoping to bounce back from their loss at Manchester United on Saturday.

What's the latest news involving Tottenham?

Every time that Spurs appear to get their campaign back on track, they turn in a poor performance and get beat.

But with just 11 games remaining, they're running out of time if they want to have any chance of playing in Europe next season, let alone in the Champions League.

Ahead of their game at Brighton, they trail Arsenal by six points and have played a game more than their North London rivals, who are firm favourites to finish fourth.

However, while there's less than 30 percent of the season left, Arsenal still have to play Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, West Ham, while they also still have to travel to N17, which means that a run of victories from Conte's men could see them move back into contention for the top four.

On paper, Brighton, who've lost their last five Premier League games and have tasted victory just three times in 23, is an ideal game on paper, but Roberts has told Tottenham not to take anything for granted.

What did Roberts say about Tottenham?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "I'll tell you now, going to Brighton, who are on an awful run, they should have got something out of the game against Liverpool the other day, and we are going to go there, and everybody will go, we will beat them.

"Last year we got beat there 1-0 and the year before that we got beat 3-0, so no game is every easy at Brighton and we only just beat them in the FA Cup at home.

It's not going to be easy, it's a difficult game, and if the attitude is not right, then we'll get turned over again."

Can Tottenham beat Brighton?

Spurs have done the double over Manchester City this season, including a sensational 3-2 win at the Etihad Stadium last month, which proved that on their day Conte's side are a match for anyone.

The downside for Tottenham is that they're painfully inconsistent having already lost to the likes of Burnley, Middlesbrough, and Southampton in recent months.

Like Roberts said, if they arrive with the right attitude and application, and their attacking players are up for the task, Spurs should get the win they badly need, but if they replicate some of their recent displays on their travels, then another defeat is far from ruled out.
