Things are really heating up ahead of Hafthor “Thor” Bjornsson and Eddie Hall’s big fight at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on Saturday. The bout, which is being dubbed the ‘Heaviest Fight in History’, will see the former World’s Strongest Men finally get the opportunity to settle their long-running dispute at the 5,000 capacity arena. The blue touch paper was well and truly lit over the weekend when the pair came face-to-face at a gym, where they swore and spat at each other before being separated by concerned onlookers. Hall then stoked the fire further by commenting on his opponent’s 60kg weight loss, saying he looks ‘ill’ and ‘skinny’ during an interview with Muscle and Health. Then the two clashed during an expletive-ridden encounter on iFL TV.Hosted by Kugan Cassius, the fifteen minute interview begins in explosive fashion as the two argue over the 2017 World's Strongest Man cheating scandal during the introductions.Addressing last weekend’s spat, Hall says: “I was asked to go in and stir some sh*t up, which I did. Thor said to the promoter if I touch him he’s gonna rip my head off. "But he got in my face and touched me. At the end of the day, boxing in the ring is one thing, but if you’re gonna get in my face on the street, that’s a different matter.”

Thor then claps back, saying: “Wait a minute, didn’t you come to my gym?”

After a fight almost breaks out in the studio, Hall says: “I don’t give a f*ck about the money. I don’t care. The money can go in the bin. I wanna smash your face in.” He then proposes that the loser of Saturday’s fight donates £1 million to charity.

Speaking about the role 2017 will play in their clash, Hall then says: “That’s what it’s all about to me. He smeared my win, never apologised and I’m here to correct it.”

Thor responds by saying: “To me it’s just like personal, you know. He’s been talking sh*t this whole time; he’s been crying since 2017. It’s literally been five years ago and he can’t forget it, he cannot move on.”

The conversation then circles back to 2017, as Thor labels it Hall’s “only win”, prompting the Brit to claim, “You only won World’s Strongest Man because I retired,” to which Thor asks, “Oh really? What else have you won, Eddie?”
