Harry Kane broke an incredible record on Wednesday evening.

In Tottenham Hotspur's 2-0 win at Brighton, the England captain scored yet another goal, his 95th away from home in the Premier League.

No player since the start of the division's inaugural season in 1992/93 has scored more away goals, Kane surpassing Wayne Rooney's haul of 94 for Everton and Manchester United.

The Tottenham man's haul of 95 came from just 139 appearances, which is 104 games less than it took Rooney to hit 94 - madness, right?

Kane really is one of the greatest strikers the sport has ever seen and his celebration for the record-breaking goal against Brighton was quite something as well.

The 28-year-old ran to the Spurs fans after finishing past Robert Sanchez from Rodrigo Bentancur's through ball and as he did, a Coca-Cola bottle was thrown up into the air from the away end.

Kane spotted the object and instead of ignoring it, he opted to volley it as hard as he could.

That decision has now given us one of the greatest football-themed pictures in recent history...

The footage is good, but the picture is just absolute gold. The guys over at EA Sports really need to include that celebration in FIFA 23.

Spurs' win over Brighton keeps them firmly in the hunt for a top four finish after they suffered a crushing 3-2 defeat away at Manchester United last weekend.

Antonio Conte's side welcome West Ham United to north London on Sunday and if they win that game, Arsenal fans will be looking very nervously over their shoulders.

As for Kane, he's now up to 12 Premier League goals for the season, which means he's now level with Cristiano Ronaldo in the scoring chart.

Not bad for a player who struggled so badly at the very start of 2021/22, eh?
