UFC fighter Paulo Costa asks Jake Paul to be his manager

UFC fighter Paulo Costa has asked YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul to be his manager after an exchange on social media.

The crusade of Jake Paul has been well documented across all platforms in the last few years. Between his escapades in boxing and his push for better fighter pay in the UFC, ‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t been able to stay out of the limelight for longer than five minutes.

His wins over the likes of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren have seen him reach a level of star power that few thought possible. Now, with his newly discovered interest in combat sports, he wants to do everything he can to make a difference.

Some fighters under the UFC umbrella aren’t convinced that he really wants to create change. Others, though, are hopeful that he could be the catalyst behind a real movement in the promotion.

Paulo Costa is such a believer that he’s gone out of his way to ask Paul a pretty important question – and we’re not so sure he’s joking.

“Man, that’s honorable! Can you be my manager? Please”

“@jakepaul look your private msg sir”

Costa has had his fair share of disagreements with the UFC but if he actually decided to go down this route, there’s a good chance the bridge would burn once and for all.

In terms of what he’s doing inside the cage, a lot of fans are still waiting to see what his next move is going to be.

Will Costa return to UFC?

Following his defeat to Marvin Vettori last year, Paulo Costa has only really been heard from whenever he posts something controversial on Twitter – as is so often the case with fighters these days.

He’s suggested that a rematch with Vettori is something he wants to pursue but given the Italian’s upcoming showdown with Robert Whittaker, that may be difficult to get booked.

Whether it be at light heavyweight or middleweight, Costa brings the kind of thunder that makes everyone want to tune in.

Eternal MMA 64 takes place early Saturday morning. The prelims will be streamed live on GiveMeSport’s official Facebook page, while the main card will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass.
