Chris Kamara has provided us with countless laughs over the years. Of all the antics the Sky Sports pundit has gotten up to, he's always managed to put a smile on our faces. While his on-screen antics always keep us entertained, Kamara also has some great stories to share, including an encounter with former Manchester United captain Roy Keane in an elevator.Back in 2006, Keane became the manager of Sunderland and helped the Black Cats achieve promotion to the Premier League in 2007. But in his second season in charge at the club, things didn't go all the 50-year-old's way, with Sunderland dropping down to 15th in the league that season, suffering 21 losses while winning only 11 matches. While it was a difficult season for Keane, who would resign as the first team manager later that year, he did help his side avoid relegation, steering Sunderland clear of the drop by just three points. Roy Keane SunderlandBut for all Keane's woes and disappointment, it was Kamara who managed to get him to crack a smile during that difficult period, hilariously pointing out that things could have got a lot worse for the Irishman when he bumped into him back in 2007. "I've got to tell you my Roy Keane story," Kamara told The Peter Crouch Podcast. "He was manager of Sunderland, I was in the Marriott hotel in Cromwell Road, Kensington. We used to stay there when we were doing Sky. So I get in the lift on the fourth floor down to the ground. Rio Ferdinand SLAMS Cristiano Ronaldo problem claims! Hear more on The Football Terrace...

"It stops at the third floor and Roy Keane walks in. Sunderland were struggling at the time.

"So you know what it's like when you get in a lift, the [tannoy] lady says: 'Going down.'

"I said: 'I think she's talking to you, Roy.'"

While many might have expected Keane, frustrated by his side's performances, to hit back at the joke, it seems Kammy managed to get a small smile from the Sunderland manager.

Kamara continued: "To be fair, he looked up and he didn't give me the glare. I could see a glimmer of a smirk."

Unbelievable Jeff.
