Mike Tyson was blessed with both heavy hands and insane head movement - but he also had a pretty decent chin as well.

The youngest heavyweight champion in boxing history was one of the sport's most devastating knockout artists during his heyday, knocking out 21 of his 23 opponents by the time he was 19 years old.

Iron Mike's debut came against Hector Mercedes in New York in 1985, where he knocked him out in the first round before doing the same thing to Trevor Singleton again a year later.

Tyson used to bully his opponents with his raw strength early on in his career, combining that with his outstanding hand speed, accuracy, and timing to devastating effect.

He also showed off his incredible defence, using the iconic peek-a-boo style taught to him by his mentor Cus D'Amato to get out the way of his opponent's wild swings while holding his hands high above his heads to block any incoming shots.

But he could also take a punch as well as he soon found out against Reggie Gross.

Tyson knocked out Gross in the first round of their 1986 fight after throwing a stunning left hook.

However, Tyson didn't have it all his own way, as he was forced to bob and weave as Gross fired 20 shots at him.

But it wasn't long before he landed a perfectly-timed left hook that left Gross, now 60, out for the count.

Little did Tyson know at the time that he was only five months removed from the night he beat Trevor Berbick to become the youngest heavyweight champion of all time, aged 20.

Archive footage of his crazy KO against Gross has now resurfaced online, with the 55-year-old showing he has still got it in a training clip posted online.

Tyson had been linked to an appearance against either Jake Paul or Logan Paul.

The American YouTube personalities have taken the boxing world by storm courtesy of high-profile clashes with the likes of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley and even Floyd Mayweather of all people.

But after months of speculation, the reformed Baddest Man on The Planet revealed that he has no intention of returning to the ring despite .

During a recent Full Send podcast episode with the Nelk Boys, he said: “You know something that’s interesting. I think it was Jake, the youngest one. I’m not even interested in doing this stuff.

“It was just fun at first. If it was back when I first started, yes, and we were both fighting on the same card and both active, yeah, we could do it. But it just turned … it just turned bad. It didn’t turn out right.

“Every, they say it’s 10, but it’s like every 12, or 13 months … boom, something’s missing.

“Like something’s missing. I give it to … boom, I’m losing muscle mass. Boom, it’s something.

“It’s always something different. And I don’t know, I’m just … guys want to fight me for 100 million bucks. I don’t think I’ll ever do stuff like that anymore.

“I wanted to do it the first time just for fun to have fun and then some people took it to another level and made it financial, and then the fun went out of it.”
