The UFC is set to return on Saturday 19th March 2022 to the United Kingdom with a stacked Fight Night card, but what might happen on the night?

There are several notable names from the UK and Irish MMA scenes set to do battle on the night, with Paddy Pimblett getting his second run in the octagon.

The UFC has already issued betting odds for the fight night on their official website, but are they in line with some of our own predictions?

Here are our predictions for the UFC London 2022 Fight Night event that takes place on Saturday 19th March 2022:

Main Event: Alexander Volkov vs Tom Aspinall 

  • Aspinall enters this contest as the favourite at -130, and we can see the British fighter going all the way in this to win via decision after five rounds.

Arnold Allen vs Dan Hooker

  • Hooker makes the move down to 145 pounds, but it’s going to be quite the challenge for the tenured former Lightweight fighter. We’re expecting a TKO for Allen over Hooker here.

Paddy Pimblett vs Kazula Vargas

  • Pimblett is being pegged as the next big thing in the UFC, and we can see the British fighter getting the win here via submission inside the three rounds.

Gunnar Nelson vs Takashi Sato

  • Sato accepted this contest on less than two weeks' notice, and Nelson is a fantastic fighter on the ground. We’re expecting Nelson to take the win via submission.

Molly McCann vs Luana Carolina

  • This fight will likely be a case of Carolina trying to keep McCann at bay on the feet whilst Molly goes in with volume, but we’re expecting McCann to take the win here via decision after three rounds.

Jai Herbert vs Ilia Topuria

  • Despite his antics with Pimblett in the fighter’s hotel, we’re expecting Topuria to be focused and get the win here via decision.
