Following their boxing match over the weekend, Hafthor Bjornsson has now revealed what he said to Eddie Hall in the ring immediately after the fight.

Bjornsson made it 2-0-2 inside the ring following a points win over Hall on Saturday in what was a fine performance from the Iceland native, knocking Hall to the canvas twice throughout the bout.

For a couple of years, the pair have been going back and forth with each other and have engaged in a lot of heated disputes. However, both men were respectful towards one another as soon as the final bell went.

Following the bout, the 2018 World’s Strongest Man winner confirmed what he said to Hall afterwards.

Bjornsson said: “I’ve moved on, I told him good job, it was a hell of a fight.

“Congrats to him for all the hard work he’s been putting in.”

It’s been confirmed that there is a rematch clause in the contract. Whilst both men would entertain the idea of a possible second fight, it seems as if Bjornsson has moved on and is no longer intrigued by another fight.

Now that the pair have settled their disputes inside the ring, Bjornsson feels as if it’s time to move on. With that being said, he may be willing to fight Hall again if Eddie is desperate for the rematch.

“I respect him as an athlete but I just want to move on.

“Honestly I really wouldn’t want a rematch because I want to move on.

“I don’t really want to communicate with him. We’re not going to be best friends, that’s just a fact.

“But if he wants the rematch I’ll give it to him 100 per cent.”

It now seems as if the Icelandic is aiming to concentrate on the future. With that being said, it would appear that he hasn’t shut the door on facing Hall once more.
