Olivier Giroud has been a brilliant striker over the past 15 years.

The Frenchman has it all. Not only is he strong as an ox and superb in the air, Giroud also possesses incredible technical ability.

He has scored so many incredible goals in his football career.

The Frenchman won the Puskas Award in 2017 after scoring a quite astonishing scorpion kick while in action for Arsenal against Crystal Palace.

He lashed in a sensational left-footed volley for France against Sweden in the same year, while he also notched a brilliant bicycle kick during Chelsea's Champions League victory against Atletico Madrid in 2021.

Arguably Giroud's best goal of his professional career came for Chelsea in their FA Cup semi-final clash against Southampton in 2018.

And the goal was so good that, nearly four years on, the goal has gone viral again.

With the score goalless at half-time, Chelsea would have wanted a fast start in the second half to impose themselves on the game.

And that's exactly what they got through Giroud, who produced a moment of pure magic to give his side the lead. Watch the goal in slow motion below...

Eden Hazard produced a magic touch and found Giroud in the box.

The Frenchman then produced some incredible feet to leave a grand total of five Southampton players on the floor.

Jan Bednerak, Maya Yoshida, Wesley Hoedt, Cedric Soares and Alex McCarthy all tried desperately to dispossess Giroud inside the box.

But they were all left embarrassed by Giroud's quick feet as they all tumbled to the floor one after the other.

Giroud then made no mistake as he converted into an empty net to send the Chelsea fans inside Wembley into raptures.

His strike against Southampton is just one of a long list of incredible goals that Giroud has scored in his career.

Now 35 years old, Giroud continues to score goals on a regular basis for AC Milan in Serie A.

The Frenchman has to be considered one of the most underrated players of the 21st century. He certainly deserves more respect.
