Insider Dean Jones finds it "very hard to believe" that Southampton loanee Armando Broja will still be at parent club Chelsea next season.

Amid an impressive spell down on the south coast, several Premier League clubs have been linked with the 20-year-old, with the Saints also thought to be eyeing up a permanent deal.

Who exactly has been linked with Broja?

It is a long list, one that includes Chelsea's London rivals Arsenal. According to the Daily Express, the Gunners are keeping a close eye on the youngster, who is currently at St Mary's on loan.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leaving the Emirates in the last transfer window and Alexandre Lacazette out of contract at the end of the campaign, Mikel Arteta is likely to be in the market for a new striker.

Reports in January also suggested that West Ham were keen on the 6 ft 3 Albania international, so they are another team who could make a move this summer.

As for Southampton, per Sky Sports, the Saints want to turn his loan into a permanent deal, complicating things for the likes of Arsenal and West Ham.

What has Jones said about Broja's future?

Jones cannot see Broja remaining at Stamford Bridge beyond the summer and believes the forward and Chelsea have a big decision to make.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the football journalist said: "I find it very hard to believe he'll be a Chelsea player next season, so I think him and the club have got to find a way to resolve this and decide whether it's going to be another loan deal or whether they accept an offer for him."

Would Chelsea really sell Broja to Southampton?

There may be a reluctance. Broja is one of their most promising youth products and has shown as much this season as he closes in on the 10-goal mark.

However, with Roman Abramovich and his wealth leaving west London, the Blues may find themselves in a position where they have to sell players that they are not necessarily keen on letting go.

Following Abramovich's decision to sell the club, The Athletic wrote: "Chelsea sell players on an annual basis anyway to help their accounts, however there is a suspicion they will have to cash in on some individuals who were previously not earmarked to go."

It will now be interesting to see if that includes Broja. Southampton and some of their Premier League rivals will certainly be hoping so.
