Randy Orton almost fainted during his entrance at WrestleMania 33, wife Kim has revealed.

Just weeks after sharing what Disney movie makes Randy cry, Kim Orton has dropped another revelation about her husband, claiming he was close to passing out during his entrance at WrestleMania in 2017.

At WrestleMania 33, Randy Orton walked into the event as the Royal rumble winner and was set for a WWE Championship match against Bray Wyatt. In the weeks leading up to the bout, The Viper had stood alongside Bray as part of the Wyatt family, and together the pair had briefly been SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

However, after Wyatt won the Elimination Chamber and became the new WWE Champion, Orton eventually showed his true colours and challenged Bray to a match at WrestleMania. Burning down the Wyatt Family compound to cement his breakaway from the group.

Speaking on the Wives of Wrestling Podcast, Randy Orton’s wife looked back at that event and revealed that her husband got so fired up for the match that he got lightheaded during the entrance and almost passed out.

I was just gonna say something about Randy’s entrance at that same WrestleMania. He was walking down the ramp and he got so fired up that he got lightheaded. Yeah, but he got so fired up and like, held his breath as he was getting fired up, and he stops, and he puts his like hands down and he was like [discombobulated]. That motherf*cker almost passed out. He walks so slow as it is that it took him five minutes to get down there.

Ultimately the match itself didn’t live up to expectations, with fans critical of the images of bugs and maggots projected into the ring during the bout. Nonetheless Randy would go on to defeat Bray Wyatt and become the new WWE Champion.

At WrestleMania 38, Orton will once again be battling for championship gold (well, silver), when he and Riddle put their Raw Tag Team Championships on the line against Alpha Academy and The Street Profits.
