Ashleigh Barty retires

Barty announced that she was stepping away from tennis on Wednesday morning.

The world number one, just 25 years old, gave an emotional interview where she revealed the news.

Barty won the Australian Open earlier this year, which was her third major title.

Man Utd fans rank the club’s players

It’s been a dismal season for Manchester United.

The Red Devils’ exit from the Champions League at the hands of Atletico Madrid earlier this month means they will end the season without silverware.

They are well behind in the race for the Premier League title and are in danger of missing out on a top four spot.

With the campaign fast approaching its conclusion, United fans have ranked their players out of 10 based on their performances this season. It’s fair to say they don’t have a very high opinion of Harry Maguire’s displays in 2021/22…

The highest-paid managers in Europe

L’Equipe have revealed the three highest-paid managers in each of Europe’s top five leagues.

Jose Mourinho isn’t the best-paid boss in Serie A, while Mauricio Pochettino is comfortably the highest-paid boss in Ligue 1.

While Diego Simeone’s salary is just ridiculous. He nearly earns as much as Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp combined!

Lewis Hamilton realises he wasn’t given champagne after podium finish

Hamilton dug deep and managed to finish in the podium places at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

The Englishman started the race in fifth but profited from the late retirements of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez to cross the line in third.

Hamilton was given what he thought was a bottle of champagne to celebrate his podium finish but he soon realised that something wasn’t right…

PSG’s salaries revealed

L’Equipe have revealed the best-paid players in Ligue 1.

And, incredibly, 18 of the top 20 best-paid players in the league are PSG players.

Kylian Mbappe’s comment to Paul Pogba

There are huge question marks surrounding Mbappe’s future at Paris Saint-Germain.
