Marcelo is one of the best left-backs football has ever seen.

The Brazilian has been at Real Madrid since 2006 and has represented his country on 58 occasions.

During his illustrious career, Marcelo has won five league titles, two Copa del Reys, four Champions Leagues, three European Super Cups and four Club World Cups. He's also claimed the Confederations Cup with Brazil.

On an individual level, he's been named in UEFA's Team of the Year on three occasions and made the FIFA FIFPro World XI six times.

He really is legendary.

In his prime, Marcelo was one of the quickest players on the pitch, capable of defending and attacking up and down that left flank for 90 minutes.

A goalscorer he is not, though.

In almost 400 league appearances for Real Madrid, he's scored 26 goals. He's failed to score more than four league goals in any season.

Throughout his club career, he's scored 50 goals.

One thing he's certainly not renowned for is being a free-kick taker. In fact, out of those 50 goals he's scored for Fluminense and Real Madrid, not one has come directly from a free-kick.

But maybe he should have been given more opportunities to take one at the Bernabeu.

That's because a training video of Marcelo taking free kicks has gone viral - and it's so good.

It shows the 33-year-old taking three free-kicks, which he places perfectly over the wall and into the back of the net past the goalkeeper. His fourth free-kick is then smashed into the far corner.

Wow.

Quiz: Real Madrid vs Barcelona: The ultimate El Clasico

It just goes to show you just how good footballers are.

Marcelo isn't even a free-kick taker and he can nonchalantly score four free-kicks in a row. Imagine what actual free-kick takers can do.

Take a bow, Marcelo.
