There are just two months remaining of the domestic season in Europe and there is still plenty to play for.

There are leagues to be clinched, cups to be won and some huge moments to come.

But there is also the admin side of football that needs to be sorted before the summer.

Clubs will be looking at which transfer targets they want to sign at the end of the season. But if they want a bargain, they may well be looking at the free transfer bucket to snap up a world-class player for absolutely nothing.

That's because there are a number of incredible players who are still yet to sign a new contract at their current club. Some may well do before the season starts but for many, it seems a free transfer is on the cards this summer.

To demonstrate just how many brilliant players will be out of contract, we've created an XI of stars whose contract is expiring.

And to sum up just how good the XI is, there is no room for the likes of Gareth Bale, Luis Suarez, Isco, Marcelo Brozovic, Ivan Perisic, Arturo Vidal, Angel di Maria, Cesc Fabregas, Hatem Ben Arfa, Matthias Ginter or Axel Witsel.

Let's take a look at the XI:

QUIZ: Can you name the footballer based on their Wikipedia page?

Goalkeeper: Andre Onana

It's been an eventful year or so for the Ajax goalkeeper. Last February, he was banned for one year by UEFA after testing positive for Furosemide. He claimed he had accidentally taken his wife's medication. That ban was later reduced to nine months but the 25-year-old has failed to sign a new deal at the Dutch club.

Earlier this week, Onana was involved in a 'serious car crash' ahead of Cameroon's World Cup play-off but is reported to be 'fine.'

He's set to join Inter Milan on a free but a deal is yet to be finalised.

Right-back: Cesar Azpilicueta

The Chelsea captain is yet to sign a new deal at Stamford Bridge and, considering the uncertainty at the club, it's looking increasingly unlikely.

The Spaniard has been at Chelsea for 10 years and has helped the club win nine trophies in that time.

However, it seems likely the 32-year-old will be returning to Spain with Barcelona at the end of the season.

Centre-back: Antonio Rudiger

Another defender Chelsea could be losing for free is Rudiger.

The German has been fantastic for the Blues this season and has become a fan favourite at the Bridge for, not only his performances but his passion and sh*thousery.

A host of European clubs are reportedly interested in his signature but is apparently asking for around £400,000-per-week.

Centre-back: Dan-Axel Zagadou

Zagadou is only 22-years-old but has struggled with injuries at Borussia Dortmund. He's played just 13 times in all competitions this season but is reportedly being pursued by Ralf Rangnick and Manchester United.

Left-back: Marcelo

Does anyone want a legendary left-back on a free transfer?

Marcelo is now 33-years-old and is struggling for game time at Real Madrid. He's won 17 trophies in 15 years at the Bernabeu but a return to Brazil and Fluminense seems the most likely.

And he's still got a pretty great free-kick on him too...

Centre-midfield: Luka Modric

Marcelo's teammate, Modric, also looks set to leave Real Madrid after a legendary spell at the club.

However, the 36-year-old is still playing at the very highest level and it won't be a surprise to see the Spanish club do everything they can to keep him.

Centre-midfield: Franck Kessie

Kessie has played a big role in helping AC Milan lead the Serie A title race this season. The 25-year-old Ivorian has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona at the end of the season and has already agreed a deal, according to the Guardian.

Centre-midfield: Paul Pogba

In a recent interview, Pogba admitted he hasn't been happy following his return to Manchester United.

"You have to be honest, the last five seasons have not satisfied me - really not at all," he said.

Aston Villa and Newcastle, as well as Juventus, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, are interested in the 29-year-old.

Forward: Paulo Dybala

Dybala is still only 28 but injuries have hampered his career at Juventus. He has scored 13 goals in 29 matches for the Old Lady but will be leaving on a free transfer in the summer.

Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham are interested amongst other top European clubs.

Forward: Ousmane Dembele

Dembele appears to have rekindled his Barcelona career under Xavi recently with seven assists in his last five league matches. And after being seemingly certain to leave the Camp Nou in the summer, there is now hope the £135.5m signing may stay.

PSG would be the front-runners but Newcastle United, Man Utd and Spurs are also said to be keen.

Forward: Kylian Mbappe

Ah, the pièce de résistance. The second most expensive player in the world is set to leave PSG on a free transfer this summer.

Real Madrid offered to sign him for £41 million in January but it looks as though they will now sign him for absolutely nothing six months later.
