Gareth Bale is a parasite. That was the headline from Spanish newspaper, Marca, on Thursday.Journalist Manuel Julia Dorado went on an almighty rant regarding the Welshman before he responded with two incredible goals as Wales beat Austria 2-1 to take a giant step towards the Qatar World Cup.Dorado wrote: “He settled in Spain, at Real Madrid, where, masked, he first showed diligence and love for the guest, but then his nature led him to suck blood without giving anything in return. Well, more than blood, he sucked, and sucks, the club’s euros. â€œUnlike others of its kind, such as the flea, the louse or the bedbug, the Bale parasite does not cause itching or illnesses in its host, but after sucking, it laughs and makes fun of it, showing a jocular contempt for the one from whom he lives. â€œHe laughs, applauds, throws himself on the ground, sings, as a kind of humiliating ceremony, which, luckily, has an expiration date, like all misfortunes.”

We've already explained how he responded to Marca in his post-match interview following his heroics.

But many people - including Spanish media - believe he responded to the article during the celebrations of his first goal.

Bale opened the scoring with a quite sensational free-kick that went right into the top corner.

The Cardiff City Stadium erupted and Bale and his Wales teammates celebrated wildly. He produced a 'Klinsmann' dive in the corner before being mobbed. At the end of the celebrations, he pushed his Wales badge into the camera before shouting something.

Did Gareth Bale shout 'suck that!'

What did he shout?

Well, according to the Spanish TV programme, ElGolazoDeGol, he shouted 'Suck that' in response to being called a parasite.

While that can't be confirmed, it certainly looks that way - and plenty of football fans noticed it too:

If so, it's a brilliant response from a brilliant player.

QUIZ: Can you name the footballer based on their Wikipedia page?

While the last few years at Madrid haven't been kind to Bale, he's done so much for Los Blancos - not least helping them win four Champions League titles with goals in two different finals.

Suck that, indeed.
