Liverpool fans concerned after Jurgen Klopp’s MNF appearance

Football News

Jurgen Klopp earned rave reviews for his one-hour appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football.

The Liverpool boss spoke about a wide-range of subjects before the Premier League clash between Burnley and Watford, including his own career - both as a player and as a manager.

But while most football fans were captivated by Klopp’s fascinating discussion with Jamie Carragher and David Jones, a significant number of Liverpool supporters expressed their concern on social media.

They fear that Klopp, who spoke with great enthusiasm throughout his one-hour segment, may have given away Liverpool’s game-plan.

And they were now worried that opposition coaches will find it easier to beat the Reds as a result of Klopp’s tactics talk based around his current squad. (Scroll down to see the tweets).

Worried Liverpool fans react on Twitter

Others aren't as concerned

However, other Liverpool supporters believe it’s utterly ridiculous that some of their fellow fans are panicking…

Liverpool fans shouldn't worry too much

Although it’s understandable that some supporters are concerned, it’s safe to assume that Klopp will have carefully considered what he would and wouldn’t reveal prior to his MNF appearance.

Nothing that Klopp revealed on live television last night will have come as a shock to opposition managers, who can see everything for themselves simply by analysing a few Liverpool matches.

Swansea up next

Liverpool have been in excellent form of late, winning their previous three league fixtures, and currently sit fourth in the Premier League table.

Next up for Klopp’s men are Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this weekend - and while Francesco Guidolin may have tuned into Sky last night, 99 per cent of his pre-match information on Liverpool is likely to come from his opposition scout.
