Dave Meltzer has provided some clarification on which matches WWE is planning on having main event WrestleMania 38.

Next weekend, WWE is heading to Dallas for a two-night WrestleMania show, the biggest event in the year for wrestling.

There have been a lot of reports coming out about the event, including some interesting ones concerning the matches that WWE is planning on having main event.

A report last week stated that WWE was planning on having the KO Show segment between Kevin Owens and Stone Cold Steve Austin main event the show on Saturday night.

However, Dave Meltzer has stressed that people within WWE have said that this isn't the case.

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that people within WWE have stressed the plan is for Charlotte Flair v Ronda Rousey to main event WrestleMania night one.

There were reports this week that the Austin/Owens segment would end the show. According to those in WWE, as of midweek, Flair vs. Rousey was scheduled to close the show.

Interestingly, Meltzer explained that things within WWE are very fluid right now, with regards to WrestleMania, so the plans could change away from Rousey v Flair before the show next week.

It was also noted that match order changes frequently and will continue to change until the day of the show.

As you can expect, Meltzer is reporting that the only match locked in for WrestleMania 38 is Brock Lesnar v Roman Reigns, which will be main eventing WrestleMania 38 night two.

The only thing locked from the start has been Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar closing the Sunday show.
