Jadon Sancho is one of the most talented youngsters in world football.

The tricky winger, now 22, possesses electric pace and has a plethora of tricks in his repertoire.

He has humiliated countless defenders during his short career as a professional footballer.

And one man that has been made to look silly by Sancho is his countryman and Manchester United teammate, Harry Maguire.

Back in March 2019, an 18-year-old Sancho came up against Maguire in England training.

And the then-Borussia Dortmund star humiliated his opponent during a training game.

Maguire was attempting to defend against Sancho but fell to the floor after being bamboozled.

Maguire, who went on to become the most expensive defender in the world a few months later, took the embarrassing moment well as both himself and Sancho were seen with a smile on their face.

A few years later, in September 6, Sancho was asked about the moment by SoccerBible.

He replied, per the Metro: "Yeah, that shocked me as well.

"Obviously it’s funny because he dropped, but I didn’t understand it, because I wasn’t even that close to him.

"I think it was just because of how sharp it was, it might have just thrown him off. I was new to training so he might not have expected something like that.

"Now he understands that the stop and start does come, he’s more aware.

"But I feel that when you play against a new opponent they don’t know what’s coming, so they just get rattled [laughs]."

Maguire must have had mixed feelings when Sancho signed for Man United last summer.

On one hand, Maguire knows just how good Sancho is and how much his signing improved the team.

But on the other hand, the United defender has been embarrassed by the winger before and perhaps wouldn't have been looking forward to playing against him in training.

Regardless, Maguire isn't the only defender to be embarrassed by Sancho.
