Daniel Sturridge was brilliant at his peak.

Signed by Liverpool in 2012, it didn't take long for Sturridge to start banging in the goals for the club.

He soon formed a devastating partnership with Luis Suarez up front. The two were unplayable for their first few seasons together.

Sturridge notched 35 goals in 49 games across his first one-and-a-half seasons with the club.

But he had so much more in his locker than just goals.

As well as being a lethal finisher, Sturridge was also lightning quick and had incredible technical ability.

His left-foot was magic. He was a creator as well as a goalscorer.

But then injuries hit Sturridge hard. He only scored 32 goals for Liverpool in his last five seasons with the club.

However, it's important to remember just how good he was at his very best.

Now 32, the Englishman now plays for A-League outfit, Perth Glory.

However, injuries have continued to plague him and he's failed to score in five appearances for the club.

Despite all the injuries he has suffered in his career, the streets will never forget just how good he was in his prime.
