Triple H has formally announced his retirement from in-ring competition which has got fans looking back on his most iconic moments.

Yes, it’s been a sad week for WWE fans as The Game made it public knowledge that we will never see him fighting in the ring again.

The 52-year-old, real name Paul Levesque, is one of the most successful and popular wrestlers of all time. Since his debut in 1995, he has been involved in countless clashes with WWE’s most formidable stars, the likes of Batista, The Undertaker and Randy Orton immediately come to mind.

Not to mention his time with Shawn Michaels in the iconic D-Generation X tag team that tore open the doubles scene and then left their opponents infuriated as they mocked them with the classic “Suck it!” catchphrase.

The Cerebral Assassin last fought against Randy Orton in 2019, at the Super Showdown event in Saudi Arabia. However, a cardiac arrest last year has finally forced the icon to slow things down and focus on his other role as the WWE executive vice president of global talent strategy & development.

Fans have been flocking to share their favourite memories of the legend on social media, leading to one Twitter user posting the hilarious moment Triple H exposed Kofi Kingston on WWE Raw for not being Jamaican…

Kofi addressed the crowd, in what seemed to be an incredibly American accent, before asking at the end: “Any questions?”

Well, Triple H certainly did…

The Game jumped in: “Woah, woah, hold on a second. I got a question… as a matter of fact, I gotta problem…

“Aren’t you supposed to be Jamaican? What happened to your accent? I thought you were Jamaican!”

Ah, vintage Triple H. Vintage WWE.

No doubt he dished out a signature Pedigree just a few minutes later as well.

Enjoy your retirement, Hunter, you deserve it!
