Divock Origi will go down in Liverpool Football Club history.

He won't go down as one of the best players to have ever played for the club but he will forever remain a cult hero.

It looks as though the Belgian will leave Anfield in the summer with his current contract set to expire.

One thing is for sure: if he does leave he will be given an almighty send off by Kopites.

The Belgian striker has played a bit-part role for the club ever since his arrival in 2015. But that hasn’t stopped him from being heavily involved in some of the club’s most incredible moments in recent years.

If Liverpool are in desperate need of a last-minute winner, the chances are that Origi will deliver.

Of the 40 goals he’s scored for the club, 15 of them have come later than the 75th-minute. He scored twice in THAT incredible 4-0 victory over Barcelona in the semi-finals of the Champions League before scoring again in the final against Tottenham. He’s scored five goals in Merseyside derbies, including a 96th-minute header in bizarre circumstances.

He really is the ultimate clutch player and Liverpool fans love him.

And an example of Origi's legendary status amongst football fans was evident in a video that is doing the rounds on social media.

Origi is currently away on international duty with the Belgium squad. On Saturday, they faced Ireland in a friendly but could only manage a 2-2 draw.

A young fan was fortunate enough to bump into the Belgium team - presumably in their hotel as they walked down the stairs.

But despite all the stars in the squad, there was only one player this fan in question wanted a photo with - Origi.

In fact, as the young boy goes to ask for a photo, Belgium's assistant manager - and possibly the greatest player in Premier League history - Thierry Henry thinks it's him that the boy wants a photo with. It's an understandable mistake to make.

Henry turns around and starts walking towards the boy before he realises that he's focusing his attention on Origi, just a few steps behind the Frenchman.

Henry walks off, probably a little embarrassed before Origi duly obliges and takes a photo with the young boy.

Brilliant.

To be fair, only one of them has scored in a Champions League final and it's not Thierry Henry.
