Crystal Palace are dangerous and could become quite a "scary" team after beating Everton 4-0, claims Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

The south London club head into their next game against Arsenal after that impressive win versus Frank Lampard's men in the FA Cup, and Bridge is thoroughly impressed with what he has seen.

How good were Palace against Everton?

They were excellent, putting four goals past Jordan Pickford to pick up their biggest win in the Patrick Vieira era so far.

Marc Guehi, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Wilfried Zaha and Will Hughes were all on the scoresheet on the day and now have an FA Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea at Wembley next month to look forward to.

It was undoubtedly one of Palace's best performances this season if not their best, and Vieira will be desperate to see more of the same when club football returns this weekend.

The Frenchman will know that the Eagles will once again have to be at their best if they are to take anything away from their game versus his old side Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta's men flying right now.

The Gunners have lost just once in their last eight league outings and currently occupy that final Champions League spot.

What has Bridge said about Palace?

Bridge liked what he saw from Palace in that convincing victory over Everton and thinks they can become a scary team under Vieira.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the Sky Sports journalist said: "They've got that in their locker. It's not going to work every game, but they do have that ability now to do that to teams. They're dangerous, and when they're all on fire, it could be quite scary."

Will this go down as a successful season for Palace?

Without a doubt. There is still a lot of football to be played, but in terms of relegation, Palace look safe, as they currently sit in 12th on 34 points.

Fans have also been entertained this term, with that showing against Everton at Selhurst Park the latest example of that.

And, of course, beating the Toffees to get to the FA Cup semi-final is the cherry on top, though things could get much sweeter if Vieira's men can defeat Chelsea and then go on to do the unthinkable. All in all, you would have to say that it is an exciting time to be a Palace supporter.
