Marcus Rashford could still be a Manchester United player next season, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The £63m-rated forward has been linked with an Old Trafford exit in recent months following his lack of game-time under Ralf Rangnick.

What's the latest news involving Rashford?

Having slipped down the pecking order since Rangnick became interim manager at United, Rashford's future at his boyhood club has been thrown into doubt.

After he was overlooked for the Manchester derby, despite Edinson Cavani and Cristiano Ronaldo both being unavailable through injury, reports emerged that Rashford was having second thoughts over his future at United and was said to be seriously considering leaving for the very first time.

Rashford was picked from the off in United's last Premier League game against Tottenham but has started just six of Rangnick's 15 top-flight games in charge, which has left him frustrated with his role.

Even youngster Anthony Elanga has moved above Rashford in Rangnick's thoughts, while Jadon Sancho's recent upturn in form hasn't helped his case for more regular game-time.

Despite uncertainty surrounding his position at the club, Jones doesn't believe that the 24-year-old will definitely leave Old Trafford this summer.

What did Jones say about Rashford?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "I'm still not 100% convinced that Rashford will leave United. There's a situation to be sorted out, he's been linked to PSG, which just raises more questions about why that link has come about and why PSG think he has become available."

Who's been linked with Rashford?

Despite Rashford's dip in form over the last 18 months, highlighted by his record of eight Premier League goals since the beginning of 2021, the England forward has still got plenty of admirers.

Rashford has a proven record in England's top-flight, directly contributing to 98 goals in 198 outings.

Therefore, 90min believe that Premier League duo West Ham and Newcastle are interested in the United man, while Arsenal are also prepared to give Rashford a lifeline, with both Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette out of contract, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was allowed to leave in January.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano recently reported that PSG could become an option for Rashford, with Kylian Mbappe's future in the French capital in serious doubt following links to Real Madrid.
