Kurt Angle has recalled telling WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, who was his boss at the time, that he wanted to "beat the s***" out of him.

Chris Van Vliet shared a clip on Twitter from his interview with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, when he spoke about his relationship with Vince McMahon.

Angle walked into McMahon's office for a meeting and told him that they needed to talk, explaining that he "wasn't doing really well" at the time.

Vince then pulled out five pages worth of text messages that Angle had sent to him, and believe us, the story get brutal.

Angle told McMahon, who was his boss at the time, that he wanted to "beat the s***" out of him when he saw him next. Kurt also told Vince that he better answer his calls or he'd "kick [his] a**".

The WWE Hall of Famer spoke about the incident to Van Vliet, explaining that he was dealing with a painkiller addiction at the time that would see him blackout, which saw him text Vince.

Vince's reaction was, as you can expect, also priceless. Angle explained that the WWE Chairman stood up, and challenged the former Olympic gold medalist to a fight.

McMahon took his jacket off, and said to Angle that the pair could fight right then and there if Angle wanted to.

Angle explained that Vince had been a father figure to him for several years, and he never had any intention of actually fighting him, and thought the whole ordeal was completely "crazy".

Kurt said that he had "too much respect" for Vince, as can be seen from the embedded tweet above, to actually stand up and fight his boss while sober.

Kurt Angle was slated to return to WWE for a storyline this year around January/February, but plans for the Hall of Famer were ultimately scrapped.
