We’re only halfway through WrestleMania 38, but WWE have confirmed the plans for next year’s event in Hollywood.

WrestleMania 39 is being billed as ‘WrestleMania Hollywood’ and during last night’s WrestleMania show WWE confirmed that it once again be a two-night event on Saturday 1 April and Sunday 2 April 2023.

The event will take place from the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, CA, the site where WWE had originally planned to hold WrestleMania 37 before plans changed to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The stadium opened in 2020 and has a capacity of over 70,000. It is currently the home of NFL teams Los Angeles Rams and LA Chargers and was the venue for Super Bowl 56 back in February.

The weekend will mark the fourth straight year that WWE has run WrestleMania over two nights. The first came in 2020, when WWE spread the action across two events partly down to restrictions during the pandemic. However, the trend continued through WrestleMania 37 in Tampa Florida and currently Dallas is playing host to WWE’s premiere event both last night and this evening.

Given WrestleMania 39’s theme, there has been heavy rumours that WWE want to headline the event with Roman Reigns vs. The Rock, with the possibility of a Hall of Fame inclusion over the weekend for The People’s Champ. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is another match that has been suggested could be on WWE’s wish-list for the event in LA.

Stay tuned to GiveMeSport for all the results and reaction from night two of WrestleMania 38 tonight, which is headlined by the huge title vs. title unification match between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar.
