Tottenham welcomed Newcastle United to north London for their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.

Spurs needed a victory to keep the pressure on Arsenal in the race for the fourth and final Champions League berth.

But it was Newcastle that took the lead at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The away side were given a free-kick roughly 20-yards out in the 39th minute and Fabian Schar fired his effort past Hugo Lloris.

Newcastle weren't ahead for long, though, as they were pegged back four minutes after taking the lead.

Heung-min Son sent a delicious ball into the box and Ben Davies rose highest to head home.
