Becky Lynch has invited Conor McGregor to partner with her at WrestleMania in 2023 after the UFC star questioned why he wasn’t involved at this year’s event. Lynch lost the RAW Women’s title to Bianca Belair on Night One of WrestleMania 38 in Texas, after being pinned by the EST of WWE. Meanwhile, McGregor, who has been linked with a move to WWE in the past, asked why he wasn’t invited to take part in the Show of Shows –– claiming that the reason is that people “fear” him.

Lynch invites McGregor to partner with her

Lynch has been vocal on social media since her defeat –– posting a series of tweets captioned “you can’t deny me”, suggesting she is intent on winning back the RAW title off Belair.

But Big Time Becks also took the time to respond to McGregor and seemingly offered him a ticket into the WWE.

She wrote: “Hey man. I could have used you. Bianca brought an army. Next year?”

A tag team between one of the WWE’s biggest stars and the UFC legend would surely make for worthy viewing. Indeed, many fans have long been clamouring for McGregor to make the switch from MMA to wrestling.

A partnership between the two seemingly makes a lot of sense as well, especially given that both hail from Ireland.

McGregor has yet to respond publicly to Lynch’s offer but with 12 months until the next WrestleMania comes around, there’s plenty of time for a deal to be made.

Lynch loses title at WrestleMania 38

Lynch’s clash with Belair may not have been the main event on Night One in Texas but it nonetheless lived up to the hype.

The match had everything, from memorable entrances, to jaw-dropping spots. At one stage, Becky booted Belair square in her eye and the EST has since posted a photo of her bruised eye on social media.

Big Time Becks also delivered a brutal Man-handle Slam on the ring steps, but the EST still managed to kick out.

And with Lynch left visibly frustrated after that, Belair countered and delivered a KOD to capture the RAW Women’s Championship belt.

What else happened at WrestleMania 38?

Overall, it was a thrilling weekend of WrestleMania action.

Charlotte defeated Ronda Rousey via pinfall to retain the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

And in the only women’s contest of night two, Sasha Banks and Naomi won a fatal four-way for the Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Queen Zelina and Carmella, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan and Natalya and Shayna Baszler.

The two main events also saw ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin defeat Kevin Owens, while Roman Reigns beat Brock Lesnar in a Winner Takes All match to unify the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship.
