In what was an entertaining evening of action, it would appear that Roman Reigns' night was dampened due to a potential injury.

Wrestling’s biggest promotion headed to the AT&T Stadium in Texas for WrestleMania 38 and it was headlined by Reigns' clash with Brock Lesnar.

From start to finish, it’s fair to say that the weekend’s action exceeded the fans’ expectations.

In the main event of ‘Night 2,’ Roman Regins clashed with Brock Lesnar as the pair looked to settle the score once and for all.

For years, both Reigns and Lesnar have gone toe-to-toe in what has proven to be an eye-catching rivalry between the two.

From the off, Lesnar took the fight right to Reigns before sending him across the ring with multiple suplexes.

However, after a shaky start, Reigns clawed back to defeat Lesnar and unify the titles.

With that being said, towards the end of the outing, it looked as if Reigns picked up a nasty injury.

Heading into the dying moments of the clash, Reigns informed Paul Hayman that something “is out.”

Originally, it looked as if Roman popped his shoulder. However, on second viewing, it would appear that Reigns might have torn a muscle.

If that’s the case, then that might explain why the clash had a very stale ending.

In previous meetings between the pair, there was always a lot of tension and drama between the two. In this showdown, it could be argued that the clash didn’t live up to the WWE faithful’s expectations.

As of right now, the promotion hasn’t commented on the seriousness of Reigns’ injury. Following the win, The Tribal Chief struggled to hold one of the titles up.

Going forward, the plan is to still have a main event title for each brand. As of right now, it’s still unclear as to when these events will take place.

Hopefully Roman’s injury isn’t too serious and we will see him return to action in the very near future.
