WWE Hall of Famer Edge defeated AJ Styles inside AT&T Stadium during night two of WrestleMania 38 last night.

It was Edge who ended up winning the match, catching AJ in a Spear after the former WWE Champion went for a Phenomenal Forearm.

AJ was actually distracted right before the finish by Damian Priest, who shared the ring with Edge afterwards, suggesting that the pair have now joined forces.

Reports last week had stated that WWE was working on having an Edge-led faction debut imminently, which as we've covered, ended up happening at WrestleMania.

WWE is not planning on stopping with just Priest, as reports have stated that two more interesting names have been pitched for the stable.

First up, Fightful Select reports that Tommaso Ciampa has been discussed for the faction, with the former NXT Champion now seemingly done with the brand.

Ciampa faced Tony D'Angelo at Stand & Deliver on Saturday night, sharing a moment with Triple H afterwards, which seemingly saw him draw his NXT career to a close.

In an update since publishing this, we've learned that the NXT name pitched to join the stable is Tommaso Ciampa.

That isn't all though, as the site is also reporting that former NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley has also been discussed for the group.

Additional names have been pitched to join the stable, including that of former WWE Women's Champion Rhea Ripley

It's important to note that Fightful isn't reporting that Ciampa and Ripley are going to join the group, just that their names have been pitched internally.

The idea of Edge working with three former NXT stars, in Priest, Ripley and Ciampa, is rather exciting, so stay tuned to GiveMeSport for any potential updates on that front.

You can watch Edge and Damian Priest on the post-WrestleMania episode of WWE Raw tonight live in the UK on BT Sport.
