Cody Rhodes made his highly-anticipated return to WWE during WrestleMania 38 night one, where he defeated Seth Rollins.

It was Cody's first match in a WWE ring since 2016, and on last night's episode of WWE Raw, he cut his first promo since being back.

Rhodes got emotional and teared up while speaking about his father, Dusty Rhodes, revealing that he returned to win the WWE title, which you can read more about by clicking here.

However, this wasn't the last time that the fans in Dallas would see the 36-year-old perform that night.

After the show went off the air last night, Cody Rhodes wrestled his second match since returning to WWE, a dark match against Kevin Owens.

Owens and Cody are quite good friends in real life, with KO introducing Rhodes to The Young Bucks after he left WWE in 2016, which he referenced during the match, as can be seen below.

After the match, as has seemingly become Rhodes' style, the former Intercontinental Champion cut an emotional promo after the match had concluded.

After beating Owens, Cody took to the mic, where he addressed his cousin, who was sitting in the crowd. He also told the fans that he'll "love [them] until the end".

Cody said that he was goign to stick around and hang out with the fans in Dallas until security kicked him out, which you can see below.

Cody Rhodes is the first major defection from AEW to WWE, and to their credit, WWE have made him feel like the biggest deal since he came back.

The company has been praised for leaving Cody's presentation as pretty much exactly what we saw in AEW, which many fans didn't expect WWE to do.
