Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to win the Premier League title again - but this time with fans in attendance.

The Reds ended a 30-year wait for a top-flight trophy in the 2019/20 season with the help of the German.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic meant football fans were unable to attend the closing stages of the season and watch Klopp's side in all its crowning glory.

Since arriving at Anfield, Klopp has won the Champions League, Premier League, UEFA Super Cup, Club World Cup and a Carabao Cup.

The 54-year-old is widely regarded as one of the club's greatest ever managers and will be best remembered for steering the club to its first piece of silverware for over a decade.

However, he insists that he will not be satisfied until they can all celebrate winning the league again together.

Asked by Peter Crouch to reflect on the last couple of years, Klopp told BT Sport: "It's difficult to think about the last two years when it's not really football that is the first thing in your mind, it's probably Covid what comes to your mind, so it was really tough.

"What a time it is...

"But from a football point of view, yeah, very exciting, for different reasons.

"Becoming champion was obviously the main target everybody had for 30 years.

"Without supporters it was still good but I would like to have it once in my lifetime at Liverpool with supporters.

"Then afterwards obviously it was very tricky because we lost our spine, it was madness, and then ending up in third place.

"In the end it was really incredible.

"We found a way to win games, it wasn't always pretty, but it was good.

"I loved third place as much as I ever loved a third place last year."

Klopp also stated that he doesn't ever look back at the past but only ever looks forward to the future.

He continued: "No, not looking back.

"But the fact that I'm still here shows that something was put right.

"Because I know I am not that naive, I know that in this business as nice as you are, whatever your skills are, if you don't deliver then it's just not possible to stay for long.

"If I look back then it's more like I'm really happy that I could stay almost pretty long at the club because it shows that there's something behind.

"It's not just like, 'Bam, here they are, and then they are gone'.

"So that's really cool. I'm really happy that we are here. I don't feel like we are close to the finishing line.

"No, we are full of energy, and we want to go as far as possible everywhere, and the club gives us the opportunities.

"The big difference obviously between Liverpool and my former clubs is we don't sell key players usually. So that's how it is. We can keep them and build from there.

"It makes a massive difference. It's nice for me to have that opportunity for us as coaches.

"So, no, I don't look back, but I really like the fact that I could stay longer and really be influential and really on a personal level could make friends which will stay forever.

"It's not time for that but that I'm here is obviously proof that a few things were right in the past."
