Wigan Athletic beat Accrington Stanley 3-0 yesterday, but a member of the crowd was the real star of the show.

With goals from Joe Bennett, Josh Magennis and Will Keane, Wigan stayed top of League One, hoping to secure promotion back to the Championship.

As well as seeing their team win, those at the DW Stadium last night were able to have some fun, thanks to a member of the crowd.

During the game, former Man United goalkeeper Ben Amos went down with an injury, requiring treatment from the physios.

With the GK needing to be assessed, a Wigan fan in the goalkeeper kit was hilariously filmed warming up in the stands behind the goal.

The fan was clearly having some fun with it, training and having a laugh in the concourse too, as can be seen below.

Reaction to the clip has been brilliant, with fans pointing out just how funny the whole thing was.

Wigan have enjoyed a pretty good season so far in League One, sitting one point clear over MK Dons at the top of the league, with two games in hand.

However, the former Premier League outfit after just three points above Rotherham in third, with both teams having played the same amount of games, so the league is far from done.

With Wigan having seven games left to play this season, it's all to play for, and fans of The Latics will be hoping to be celebrating come the end of May.

Wigan finished last season in 20th place, just three points from the relegation zone, so things have gone a lot better for them this time around.
