Roman Reigns has been noted as one of the most polarising wrestlers in the WWE since 2015 when he main evented his very first WrestleMania.

From this point out, Reigns had a tough ride as fans were angered by the fact that he was going to be the central figure in WWE for a long time coming.

Arguably, Roman Reigns delivered one of WWE’s best promos ever after fighting The Undertaker and winning at WrestleMania 33.

And it was just the one line.

The displeasure towards The Big Dog came the night after on Raw when the hardcore fanbase presented Reigns with a chorus of boos and discontent, in support of The Undertaker.

After what seemed like a lifetime, Reigns raised the microphone to his mouth and announced, “This is my yard now.”

He followed by dropping the mic and leaving swiftly.

It was short and sweet, but said all it needed to.

He quickly became a villain, which he embraced, with reports saying he came out and said he didn’t need the fans’ approval anyway.

The anger and frustration from the crowd and from fans around the world may have been fuelled by The Undertaker’s retirement and they may have blamed Roman Reigns for this.

Reigns has continued to become public enemy no.1 and the WWE have seemed perfectly content to let it continue that way. They want him to be the tough guy that fails to show remorse and is fearless.

And that is exactly what Roman Reigns is. He, without regret or remorse, retired one of the most decorated performers of all time.

It is quite simply an unforgettable promo and still the greatest to happen on a Raw After WrestleMania.
