Vinicius Junior was dangerous on the left but the performance of Fede Valverde on the right caught the attention of many.Valverde is far from the star of this Real Madrid side but his performance in west London stood out before he was substituted late on.Given his display, you'd think the Uruguayan would be nailed on to start the second leg at the Bernabeu.However, that might not be the case after what he did to his manager in the second half.That's because a clip is being shared on social media of Valverde inadvertently injuring Ancelotti.Valverde attempts to keep in a long ball from Courtois but is nudged in the back by Azpilicueta. That sends the Real Madrid man clattering into his own manager.Ancelotti limps away and holds his leg in pain as the fourth official check if he's okay. Meanwhile, Valverde doesn't even look to see if the Italian is alright and continues playing. The ultimate professional.

Fans on social media saw the funny side of it - even if Ancelotti didn't.

It's been a tough week for Ancelotti, who only just made it to London in time for kick-off after overcoming Covid.

Fortunately, he didn't have any symptoms and feels absolutely fine.

“I feel good, I hardly had any symptoms," Ancelotti revealed. "Unfortunately I had to leave the team for a week, but I came back and they were fantastic.”
