Paddy ‘The Baddy’ Pimblett is a rising star in the UFC who seems to draw more attention to himself with every passing fight.

With fans already excited for his next appearance inside the Octagon, Pimblett delivered by having his second UFC bout in England’s capital London.

Following his large growing fanbase, Pimblett is keen on keeping his fans up to date with his life and preparations for his fights.

The Baddy has a YouTube channel in which he uses to show the more personal side of himself for his fans to keep up to date.

In this case, being a video showcasing his brutal weight cut in the lead up to his UFC London bout.

Pimblett states at the beginning of the video that weight cutting has gotten a lot easier in his career as opposed to 10 years ago when he had more body fat and had to “kill himself” to make weight.

During fight week, Pimblett cuts carbs out his diet and only eats protein and vegetables.

He also cuts down on his water intake, starting at eight litres and decreasing to one litre a day before the weigh ins.

Another method the Englishman uses which many other UFC fighters use is the bath and towel method, where Pimblett will sit in a bath for around 20 minutes then lay covered in towels for around 15 minutes to shred the remaining pounds he has left.

The Englishman hit his target weight for that evening (159lbs) where he’d go to bed and wake up the next morning to make the lightweight limit of 155lbs with no issue.

After the hardest obstacle of making weight out of the way, Pimblett was able to fully focus on putting on a show for his home crowd.

He did this with no problem after submitting Karzula Vargas in the first round to keep his hype train going on.

In the aftermath of UFC London, it's safe to say Paddy the Baddy has been enjoying himself, as in his most recent video titled 'Paddy the Fatty is BACK', the Liverpudlian revealed how much weight he has put on since the event.
