Halo Infinite developers 343 Industries recently published their Season 1 Outcomes Report – Live, and it contains some brand new information for Season 2: Lone Wolves.

The report itself covers 343’s Live Team’s responsibilities and how they are implementing the feedback that the community has provided so far.

Things like the season 2 battle pass, customisation and progression are mentioned and the developers have revealed how they will be changed for the upcoming season when it releases on Tuesday 3rd May 2022.

Those who love the game will want to know exactly what these changes are, and we have revealed all of them down below.

Halo Infinite Season 2 Update Changes Revealed

Battle Pass & Progression

The update mentions how the free version of the battle pass for season 2 will have more customisation than the first. This became an issue among gamers upon its release. There is also the mention of weekly challenges being improved for players to feel more rewarded and incentivised to complete them.

The ultimate rewards, which can be claimed when every weekly challenge is completed, will also see improvements with rewards becoming more sought after with items such as visors, coatings, and stances. This means that emblems and backdrops will be removed from ultimate rewards through season 2.

Shop

Although not much is mentioned about Halo Infinite’s in-game shop, what is mentioned is that items will have more consistent value. This means that players will get more bang for their buck so to speak which is something that was a heavy topic of controversy during season 1 and something that 343 had promised to remedy throughout the game’s life.

Also mentioned is the rotation of items in the store, with 343 claiming they will increase the rate in which items cycle throughout the store.

Customisation

One of the biggest points of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer is the ability to customise your spartan. Players have a wide plethora of items to collect and use to make their spartan feel unique from others.

One thing that fans have been asking for is the ability to customise items from other spartan cores. For example, using the chest attachment from the Yoroi armour core on the Mark VII armour core. It seems that 343 have been listening and plan to implement just that as mentioned in their address as they said:

“Enabling customization across different armor cores has been the largest point of feedback when it comes to customization.

“We agree that there is room to have better customisation by lifting core restrictions where possible. For right now, we’re pursuing options that will allow players to use certain customisation items on different cores.

“Due to the way the core system was initially built, getting items to work on various cores will take time, may not even be possible for all items, and will likely require us to do it piece-by-piece.

“In short, our goal is that we will be incrementally moving to a model that has coatings and visors working across all cores; with helmets and chest gear working across canon cores as our first focused changes to make in the system.”

These are just some of the main points that Halo fans will be over the moon to hear about in terms of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer as they are changes that players have been asking for since release. It’s a breath of fresh air when developers listen to their fans, and 343 don’t seem to be stopping anytime soon.

Which change are you most looking forward to?
