The teaser trailer for Halo Infinite Season 2: Lone Wolves has just dropped, and fans are even more hyped now than ever before!

Season 1 of Halo Infinite’s multiplayer has been a wild ride to say the least. There have been ups and downs from the community but overall, fans have enjoyed the content released.

Season 1 brought players back to a fun feeling nostalgic game with a large weapon variety. It hosted several events including Tenrai, Cyber Showdown, and Tactical Ops.

Each event week had an event pass with 10+ levels and a playlist to help unlock challenges which, in turn, would unlock cosmetics. These cosmetics ranged from armour core attachments, weapon coatings, emblems and backdrops and even stances. They surely had something for everyone.

With the first season of the multiplayer coming to a close, fans are now turning their attention to Season 2: Lone Wolves. It has got quite the buzz among fans, and now it seems that their thirst for information has been somewhat quenched with a new teaser trailer for the season.

Halo Infinite Season 2 Trailer Details Revealed

The trailer debuted on the official Halo Twitter account as well as the official Xbox YouTube account. Although the teaser trailer was a short one, it was packed full of details about the new season and what players can expect when Season 2: Lone Wolves drops on May 3.

New Characters

The trailer starts off at the academy where you can practice and train to become the best spartan, ready for multiplayer. Several Spartans run to the entrance gearing up as a ship hovers above, dropping a beam of light to the ground. For a split second we get to see two new characters, one of which is injured by the looks of it. Have a look at the full trailer here.

Halo Infinite New Multiplayer Story Characters

These are the new characters to the multiplayer’s story: Spartan Sigrid Eklund and Spartan Hieu Dinh. Nothing is known about them or their story yet, but since 343 Industries has just launched the promotional campaign for season 2, it’s expected we will get more information in the coming weeks until the release on May 3.

New Armour Core

Before this trailer, all fans had to go off of for the new armour core was a concept sketch; however, that’s all changed now as we get a clearer look at the core in action.

The design of the stocky armour core looks to be inspired by the Soviet assault engineer uniform with a futuristic Halo twist. It looks like there will be plenty of customization options for this new core too, although it’s unknown whether these will be available at launch or released throughout the season.

New Maps

Fans get their first look at the new map Breaker. It will be a BTB map and has a very orange colour scheme. Through the trailer we see molten lava flowing down into a pit that a Warthog leaps over, as well as several Spartans fighting on the ground.

We also get a look at the new arena map Catalyst with it’s main blue and grey colour scheme. The map itself looks run down and old, with moss visible on various floor and wall panels.

The trailer ends with a voice line saying: “There’s always room for another wolf.” It’s not known who is saying this specific line or in what context it’s been said in.
