David Beckham is the greatest free-kick taker English football has ever seen.

Sure, Southampton star James Ward-Prowse is quietly narrowing the gap in that regard, but he's still a long way behind Beckham.

The former England captain holds the record for the most free-kick goals scored in Premier League action with 18 - five more than Ward-Prowse at the time of writing.

During his famous stint at Manchester United, Beckham was terrifyingly good from set-piece situations.

Pretty much every time he stood over the ball, you expected him to either make the net bulge himself of setup a teammate for a goal.

So it was rather fitting that Beckham signed off his career in English football with a spectacular moment from a free-kick.
