Everton beat Manchester United 1-0 on Saturday afternoon, massively helping their chances of staying in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard's side are four points clear of 18th place Burnley, who lost the following day to Norwich, who look very likely to be playing in the Championship next season.

The win came after Anthony Gordon slotted past David de Gea in the 27th minute, although his shot did take a large deflection off Harry Maguire.

Starting at left-back that day was Ukrainian international Vitaliy Mykolenko, who only joined the club in January.

Rather than anything he did on the pitch during the 90 minutes, it was Mykolenko's reaction at full-time that caught the attention of fans.

Football fans who also watch wrestling drew some comparisons between Mykolenko's celebration at full-time, and Randy Orton's signature WWE taunt.

Before hitting his finishing move, the RKO, Orton will often hit the mat several times with his forearms/fists, as Mykolenko did to the Goodison Park turf after his side's victory.

You can see Orton's signature taunt, which does look quite like that Mykolenko did at the end of the game, at the 3:17 spot in the video below.

It's not clear whether or not Mykolenko was purposefully paying homage to Orton with his post-match celebration, and it does just seem like a happy coincidence.

Things aren't only going well for Mykolenko right now, but Orton too, as the multi-time WWE Champion is the reigning Raw Tag Team Champion alongside former UFC star Riddle.

However, Riddle better watch out, as if Mykolenko keeps on intimating Orton, he could easily try and become his next tag team partner.
