The FIFA 22 FUT Captains promo is now live and leaks on social media have revealed Juventus and Italy captain Giorgio Chiellini will be coming to the game via a Squad Building Challenge (SBC).

FUT Heroes hit our screens last Friday, with the promo consisting of FUT Heroes cards already in Ultimate Team, like David Ginola and Joe Cole, receiving new cards with upgrades.

Along with this – the promo also has an entirely new team featuring current players who are captains at their club or country with a variety of boosted stats.

EA have also been releasing SBCs daily with pack rewards and players - which is where this Giorgio Chiellini SBC comes into play.

So here he is - the FUT Captain's Leaked Giorgio Chiellini SBC card, leaked by a reliable FIFA source - FUTSheriff.

As you can see on the Tweet itself, the stats are not final - but this gives you a good perspective on what the vintage Italian centre-half's card could look like in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

Apparently, according to the leak, we'll see this SBC hitting our screens tonight - so will you be looking to complete him?

Juventus are an excellent side in this game and have some very decent links. Serie A teams are also massively popular, so we're assuming this SBC will be popular as he'll be able to slide into a lot of squads.


Giorgio Chiellini's Captain Career

As mentioned previously - Chiellini is captain of both Juventus and the Italian national team.

He was bought by Juventus in 2005, after an impressive season in Serie A with Roma. He became a regular starter under Fabio Capello and has remained a consistent presence in the Juventus team ever since.

On the 29th of June 2018, when Chiellini was given a two-year contract extension and also named the club's new captain after the departure of Gianluigi Buffon.

He has remained Juve captain ever since and is still going strong even at the age of 37 now.

In regards to his national team career, Chiellini made his first appearance as captain in 2012 - but shared the role with teammate Gianluigi Buffon depending on who was playing. Since Buffon's retirement from international football, Chiellini has taken the front seat and whenever he plays he's always the man to take on the armband.
