Last night's episode of Monday Night Raw underwent several last-minute changes, with some WWE Superstars having to be pulled.

As explained by WrestleTalk, some of the matches that were announced for last night's show in Detroit didn't actually end up happening.

The first match on the show saw Dominik Mysterio go one-on-one with Veer Mahaan, who only debuted last week.

However, that wasn't the match that we were supposed to see, as over the weekend, WWE announced that Mahaan would be taking on Rey Mysterio.

There's no word on why the match was changed, but Rey didn't accompany his son to the ring, and wasn't featured on the show in any capacity.

He wasn't the only member of the WWE Raw roster to be pulled from the show, however.

On last week's show, WWE announced that Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan would challenge Naomi and Sasha Banks for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

However, the match didn't end up happening, and Ripley didn't appear on the show in any capacity, with WWE announcing that the Australian was keeping to "protocols".

Instead, Liv faced Naomi in singles competition, losing to the former SmackDown Women's Championship, despite beating Banks on SmackDown last week.

Another slight change saw with the Damian Priest v AJ Styles match, that we ended up seeing on the show.

The match was actually announced last week, but on the rundown for Raw that Fightful Select posted just before the show, another match was slated to take place.

Instead of facing Styles, the rundown had Priest facing Finn Balor, which didn't end up happening.

Balor was presented on the show, albeit only for a brief second, when he watched on as Dominik Mysterio was taken into an ambulance.

On next week's Raw, Balor will defend his United States title against Austin Theory, who underwent a name change on last night's show, which you can find more about by clicking here.
