Liverpool will lock horns with the red half of the Portuguese capital Benfica for the second time in the hope they can book their place in the Champions League semi-finals.

The Reds got the better of their Liga NOS opponents in the first leg by winning 3-1. Goals came from Ibrahima Konate, Sadio Mane and Luis Diaz who gave the Premier League side the advantage - with Darwin Nunez keeping the tie alive for the visitors.

With the Merseysiders looking to reach the last four of the competition for the third time in five seasons, this quarter-final clash is far from resolved.

Let's take a deep dive into the second leg between Liverpool and Benfica:

Klopp told the media yesterday that his team are angry. but in a good way. We think we will see exactly that from his squad.

While we don't predict Liverpool will score a mass of goals, a professional performance will take place that should see Liverpool into the semi-finals.

Benfica will be up for the fight but have had a sticky domestic campaign, and elements of that will be on show at Anfield.
