Elias has returned to WWE following his near seven-month break from the sport, with the wrestler returning earlier this month with a new persona, claiming to be his own younger brother Ezekiel.

As Ezekiel made his Monday Night Raw debut, he spoke about his pride of becoming a pro wrestler, and the fact he’s following the same path as his brother.

He said: “Ah man, it’s great, it’s basically a dream come true. I am Ezekiel, I’m Elias’ younger brother man, and I’m so happy to be here.”.

However, Kevin Owens, who is a fellow Raw Superstar, has his doubts and has suggested that Ezekiel should take a lie detector test to end the rumours once and for all.

Ezekiel has refuted these claims and has even offered up multiple forms of ID to set the record straight.

He said: “It’s a little upsetting that he’s going to accuse me of lying like that, if he wants my license, if he wants my library card, all he had to do is ask. He’s going to find out that I am Ezekiel, Elias' younger brother.”

Whilst many fans see through the illusion and can see that Ezekiel and Elias are one and the same, on Ezekiel’s Instagram page ‘iamnoteliaswwe’, a photo was posted with both Ezekiel and Elias together, with the caption: "Haters will say its photoshopped, but we know the truth."

During his debut interview, jokes were made about Ezekiel’s legitimacy, with Kevin Patrick refencing the suggestion that he could just be Elias without his beard.

Patrick said: “I must say, its wonderful having a fresh face.”

Elias has been absent ever since his matchup against former teammate Jaxson Ryker last summer with the latter walking away victorious.

Elias was then only seen in short clips the next month, with him burning his guitar, suggesting the end for the wrestler.
