Cody Rhodes opened this week's episode of WWE Raw, appearing on a Miz TV segment with The Miz.

That led to a match between the two later on the show, which was Cody's first on Monday Night Raw since 2016.

Cody won the match, before being challenged to a WrestleMania rematch at WrestleMania Backlash by Seth Rollins, which he accepted.

And now, video has emerged on social media from the show in Detroit, proving just how big of a legend Rhodes is.

The 36-year-old was spotted interacting wth fans after his Miz TV segment, with the mother of a young fan alerting Cody to the fact that it was his birthday.

Cody promised something special, and then delivered, giving the birthday boy his signature belt as he made his entrance for his match with Miz, which was so wholesome.

Cody also caught the attention of fans for what he said during his promo at the beginning of this week's show.

Rhodes said several words which have been banned by Vince McMahon, including "belt" and "wrestlers" during his time on the mic, which you can find out more about by clicking here.

The Miz, brilliantly so, played his role of the WWE stooge to perfection, and corrected Cody when he said the words.

As noted, Seth challenged the former Intercontinental Champion to a match at WrestleMania Backlash, which is slated to take place next month on May 8.

The match will almost definitely be one of the most high-profile bouts on the show, with some even speculating that it could be chosen as the main event.

This would be a huge step for the former AEW star, who has been made to feel like a huge star since making his sensational return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 earlier this month.
