This episode of AEW Dynamite saw the ROH Television Championship and AEW Tag Team Championships on the line in two huge title matches.

Also, CM Punk was in action against Penta Oscuro.

CM Punk def Penta Oscuro-

In his chase for AEW gold, CM Punk accepted the challenge of former AEW Tag Team Champion Penta Oscuro.

The match began with Oscuro and Punk brawling with each other, exchanging quick right hands.
As the match progressed, Punk looked to finish the bout early and put Oscuro to sleep but Penta scouted the finisher well and reversed it into an ankle lock.

The two men would continue to go back and forth but as Penta went for a springboard manoeuvre, Punk catches him mid-air and connects with the GTS to secure another victory.

Jurassic Express def reDragon- AEW Tag Championships.

reDragon was looking to take full advantage of their second chance of securing the AEW Tag Titles. Whereas the champions, Jurassic Express, were hoping to continue their tag team dominance and kick reDragon to the back of the line.

The challengers took control from the start, focusing on the knee of Luchasaurus by dropping him with a series of dragonscrew legwhip.

The momentum would shift as Luchasaurus evades a kick from Kyle O'Reilly in the corner which ends up connecting with the skull of Fish. Luchasaurus follows up with a huge suplex on O'Reilly.

A series of brutal tag team moves from both teams leads to multiple nearfalls. However, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus would retain the titles after hitting the Jurassic Express.

Post-match sees a huge pop for the emergence of the AAA and ROH World Champions, FTR, who have an eye for more gold.

Capt. Shawn Dean def MJF-

MJF begins the bout strong, dissecting and punishing Dean. This soon changed as MJF is on the outside taunting when he is confronted by Wardlow.
MJF would evade and Wardlow would be held by security but this would give Dean the victory via count-out as MJF had no clear opening back to the ring.

JAS def Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz-

Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz were out for redemption and they maintained control for the majority of the match.
There were a series of good spots in the match, that saw Kingston hit a tope suicida to the outside and Santana paying homage to the late great Eddie Guerrero as he dropped Daniel Garcia with the three amigos.

The closing moments in the match saw Kingston go for a running lariat but as he bounced off the ropes he is dropped by a brutal shot with the baseball bat courtesy of Chris Jericho. This allowed Garcia to steal a victory for the JAS.

Marina Shafir def Skye Blue-

Shafir has dominated in every match she has been in on AEW Dark and Elevation with all of her 4 wins coming in less than 5 minutes. She looked to continue that dominance on Dynamite as she prepares for her TBS Championship match shortly with Jade Cargill.

Shafir came out strong, dropping Skye with a huge overhead slam.
Shafir would pick up the victory in dominant fashion as she synched in a triangle choke that made blue tap out immediately.

Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs def Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland-

Hometown boy, Starks, came out to a thunderous ovation from the New Orleans crowd. However, this wouldn't stop Keith Lee from gaining the momentum at the start of the match as he sent Starks flying.

As the match progressed, Swerve would drop both members of Team Taz on the outside after he hits an assisted moonsault by springing off Lee's chest.

Lee and Swerve would continue to dominate the match but this would shift as a rolling lariat attempt from Swerve is countered mid-air with a vicious spear by Starks.

In the closing moments, Lee looked as if he was about to pick up the victory over Hobbs but interference from Taz allowed Hobbs a moment to capitalise and drop Lee, picking up a huge victory for Team Taz.

Samoa Joe def Minoru Suzuki- ROH World TV Championship

A dream match between two veterans in the wrestling world. Suzuki was looking to secure his first successful title defence since winning the championship at ROH's recent return show, Supercard Of Honor. Whereas, Samoa Joe was looking to make an instant impact and capture his first piece of ROH gold in 19 years.

The match began with an intense staredown which led to a war of vicious chops to the chest.

Suzuki would gain momentum, targetting the shoulder of the submission specialist, locking in the Fujiwara Armbar on Joe.

Joe would shift the momentum and utilise an array of submissions to ground Suzuki from executing crossfaces to an arm crank. Joe looked to dissect Suzuki.

The closing moments saw Joe hit Suzuki with a huge muscle buster to pick up his first ROH title in 19 years and be crowned as the new ROH World TV Champion.

Post-match saw the debut of 7-foot monster, NBA star Satnam Singh. Singh alongside Lethal and Dutt would dispose of Joe with Lethal hitting his former mentor with Lethal Consequences.
