There was a brawl towards the end of the Champions League match between Atletico Madrid and Manchester City on Wednesday evening.Felipe smashed into Phil Foden with a heavy challenge with 10 minutes remaining.Stefan Savic started a brawl as he dragged Foden off the pitch. The Serbian went on to headbutt Raheem Sterling and pull Jack Grealish's hair.It was a few minutes before order was restored.It all kicked off once again in the tunnel after the game, with Å ime Vrsaljko and Scott Carson both involved.While the scenes were unsavoury, the brawl looks tame compared to the fight between Inter Milan and Valencia after their Champions League clash in 2007.It all kicked off after the final whistle went and Valencia's progression was secured. Valencia's captain Carlos Marchena got into an altercation with a number of Inter players and kicked out at Nicolas Burdisso.

Burdisso, understandably, was not happy at all and tried desperately to confront Marchena.

A brawl erupted and Valencia's back-up defender, David Navarro, sprinted onto the pitch and broke Burdisso's nose with a punch.

Navarro then tried to leave the scene and was chased by Julio Cruz, Maicon and Iván Córdoba, who all kicked the Spaniard as he ran away.

Cordoba got up and was put in a headlock by a Valencia staff member.

Many other Inter players, including Javier Zanetti, attempted to chase Navarro down the tunnel.

Navarro escapes into the dressing room but it is then stormed by Inter players and staff.

UEFA took action as they handed out numerous punishments.

Navarro was banned for seven months, which was later reduced to six.

Burdisso and Maicon were both banned for six games, while Marchena was banned for four.

Cordoba and Cruz were handed three and two-match bans respectively.

Navarro said he was ashamed with his actions after the game.

"I saw that they were trying to attack a team-mate, and I lost my nerve. I have never behaved in this fashion before, and I will never do it again. I am very sorry and ashamed," he told Cadena SER, per the Guardian.

"I have not yet been able to see the images (of the incident), nor the reaction of the Inter players in our changing room. It has been a lamentable incident. On Wednesday I want to apologise to those affected by my actions."

Atletico and Man City's brawl was crazy, but it doesn't come close to Inter and Valencia's.
