Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry certainly looks ready for the upcoming NFL season.

Henry has been terrorising NFL defences for the past few years, putting up some incredible numbers along the way.

2019 and 2020 saw him lead the league in carries, yards and rushing touchdowns, with his 2020 campaign being just the eighth in NFL history to see someone rush for over 2,000 yards.

Last season was a bit of a disappointment for him though as an injury sidelined him for a large portion of it, meaning he wasn’t at his best for their playoff defeat against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Part of the reason he has been able to be so effective over the years has been down to his sheer physicality and brute strength.

With his NFL profile listing him at 6’3 and 247lbs, you could very easily mistake him for a linebacker or defensive end, which makes him incredibly hard to tackle.

Just ask the Jacksonville Jaguars...

Still looking to add more muscle:

It looks like ‘King Henry’ is doing his level best to get even stronger and tougher to tackle this upcoming season to make up for lost time.

Henry gave fans take a sneak peak into what his workout regime on his Instagram story recently, and it's safe to say he looks incredibly ripped.

Certainly a worrying sight for any would-be defender that could be on the receiving end of one of his stiff arms or who thinks they could be in a position to try and rip the ball out of his hands this season.

And if he is looking in this shape right now, just imagine what we are going to be in store for come the start of the season if he keeps on working out the way he is.
