Jesse Marsch has already made a significant impact at Leeds and is already loved by everyone at Elland Road, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Marsch's February arrival has coincided with Leeds' move away with relegation, with the Yorkshire giants looking a strong bet to retain their Premier League status in the weeks ahead.

What's the latest news involving Marsch?

Having made a poor start to life in English football following defeats to Leicester and Aston Villa, the American is quickly beginning to make his mark on the squad.

Since securing a dramatic stoppage-time victory against Norwich last month, which eased any growing fears of Leeds going down, Marsch's side have gone from strength to strength.

They backed up that 2-1 victory over the Canaries by producing another last-gasp win from behind against Wolves five days later to really boost their survival hopes.

A draw against Southampton and a win at Watford last weekend mean that it's 10 points from a possible 12 available for Leeds, who are nine points clear of the bottom-three and in real sight of securing another season at top-flight level.

And Jones has lauded the "significant" impact that Marsch has already made during his short time in the Elland Road dugout.

What did Jones say about Marsch?

He told GIVEMESPORT: "The impact he's made on the club has been really significant already and everybody loves him.

"Well have to see how it pans out, but Leeds is quite a positive environment, and they're positive they can fix whatever comes along."

Will Leeds avoid relegation?

Leeds can't celebrate just yet, but they're only a couple more wins away from being able to do so.

Their 3-0 victory over Watford last weekend opened up a nine point gap on Burnley, who can't seem to buy a win and are now having to deal with life after Sean Dyche following his shock departure.

Leeds still have to play Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City, but judging by the form of some of those below them, they might already have enough points on the board to remain at Premier League club next season.

Should it come down to the final few fixtures, though, Leeds have winnable games against Brighton and Brentford.
