Cristiano Ronaldo is now the joint-third top goalscorer in the Premier League this season.

The Manchester United superstar scored the 60th hat-trick of his incredible professional career against Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Ronaldo's latest treble helped the Red Devils pick up a priceless 3-2 win as they bid to qualify for next season's Champions League.

United's talisman is now up to 15 Premier League goals for the season, which means he's level with Liverpool's Diogo Jota.

Only Mohamed Salah (20) and Tottenham Hotspur's Heung-min Son (17) have found the back of the net more times so far in 2021/22.

Not bad, Cristiano.

Across all competitions, Ronaldo has now surpassed the 20-goal mark, with his brilliant free-kick against Norwich number 21 for the campaign.

And that means the Portugal international will receive an enormous £850,000 in bonuses from United.

As reported by The Sun, Ronaldo banked £750,000 after reaching 20 goals and he will pocket a further £100,000 for each one he scores for the remainder of the season.

The financial gains certainly don't stop there either for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

When Ronaldo finishes the season as United's top scorer, which is almost a certainty now, another £1 million will be deposited into his bank account.

If he's able to score nine more goals in the last six games of the campaign and reach 30 overall, £2.75 million in bonuses await him.

It certainly pays to be an elite-level goalscorer...

Of course, 30 goals is going to be incredibly hard to achieve even for the great Ronaldo, as United have some tough games coming up.

The Red Devils travel to title hopefuls Liverpool on Tuesday evening, before a trip to top four rivals Arsenal for Saturday's early kick-off.

United also have to play Chelsea in May, which makes their run-in incredibly tough on paper.
