Bruno Fernandes: Man Utd man involved in car crash ahead of Liverpool match

Bruno Fernandes has struggled this season

Bruno Fernandes was involved in a car crash on Monday morning.

The Manchester United midfielder was driving his Porsche when he was involved in an accident near the club’s Carrington training base.

According to the Daily Mail, emergency crews were snapped by the crash.

Fortunately, it is believed that none of the parties involved suffered serious injuries.

Fernandes is still expected to partake in United training later on Monday.

Pictures have emerged at the scene. Fernandes’ Porsche can be seen battered on the road, while another car is pictured having careered into a fence.

Twitter user @WillBirchall15 has claimed to be at the scene and has posted an image of the incident.

Fernandes has played 30 times for United this season, scoring nine times and recording six assists.

The Portuguese signed a new contract at the club earlier this month, with the Daily Mail reporting it to be worth a cool £240,000-per-week.
